Meanwhile, the bench today expressed its displeasure over the Comptroller and Auditors General (CAG) of India and Delhi Government's Directorate of Education for their "failure" to perform their statutory duty for auditing the accounts of the unaided private schools here. Recently, the court committee has submitted its findings, saying fee hike by most schools is unjustified since meeting the increased salary grade of its teachers as per the Sixth Pay Commission was only a pretext to increase the fee.
