Attari, Nov 8 (PTI) Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MP Harsimrat Kaur, wife of Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, today paid obeisance at historic Sikh shrine Nankana Sahib in Lahore, the birth place of founder of Sikhism Guru Nanak Dev. She later joined her husband, who is in Pakistan on an official tour. Before crossing over to Pakistan, the MP from Bathinda told reporters here that she would urge the Pakistan government to liberalise visa policy for Indian Sikh devotees to frequently visit the Sikh shrine in Pakistan. "Punjab government was always in favour for the opening up a visa centre at Amritsar for simplification of visa procedure. We have taken up this issue with appropriate authorities to facilitate the people. "To procure visa for Pakistan one has to visit Delhi, which is not easy and affordable for everybody," she said.
